hi try this to bring personal.xls to visible

record a macro, just anything, save it in "personal.xls"
then choose "window", choose "bring forward"
then personal.xls should be visible.

my exel isn't in english so i might have have the wrong words for
"window" and "bring forward" . "window" should be the menu to the left
of "help"
