Default How to make Save prompt come up on Excel workbook

OK - I'm not doubting you. But, have you actually seen this happen, or is it
being told to you by the user?

Hi Doug, think you might be having the blonde moment,

if you read what i wrote " ..top right screen to close workbook after
making changes....."

note the AFTER Making Changes part ??

my client is making changes to the workbook Doug, the prompt is not
coming
up!

Hence my query on here to find if there is a way to fix this, as i know of
none.

Normally this is an automated prompt, but for some reason, her excel is
not
acting like the other 15,000 staff here.

cheers.

We are using office 2000, generally when you click on the x in the top
right
screen to close the workbook after making changes, you get Prompted to
save
changes.

For a client of mine this is not happening.

I have searched the standard options and cannot find where to set this
to
give that prompt.

Can someone please assist, or am i having a blonde moment ?

Blonde moment deluxe, with whipped cream and heroin on top. The prompt
shows
when the sheet has been changed. If it does not come up, it means you
made
no changes to the sheet.
