Steve,
Not .xlt, but .xla. This is the last item in the file types list.
After you have saved it as an add-in, close that file.
Then goto ToolsAdd-Ins... and click the browse button.
Go find your new add-in, (.xla remember) and select it. This will add it to
the add-ins list. It will probably be checked already, but make sure it is.
OK Out.
This add-in will automatically load each time Excel starts now.

Save as calendar.xlt and copied to their computer. Installed the add-in
but
nothing changed.
On my machine I have an icon on the toolbar that I can click to get a
calendar to pop up and put the selected date in the active cell.
I am trying to duplicate this for them to get around different variations
of
dates being entered.
Any idea why this add-in does not do this?

Just use a new workbooksave as an addin (xlt) install on their
computers
and load the addin.

"THEIR" They have no personal.xls and have requested this.
Add-in is good too. Can you point me in the right direction.

They might not like you replacing THEIR personal.xls. Suggest an
addin.

I wrote a macro (with help from this group) in my personal.xls
that
displays
a calendar to input dates into the active cell.
I would like to pass this on to my co-workers but can not figure
out
how
to
save personal.xls and if so where to put it on their computers.
Thanks in advance.
