Type Spending, Expenses, Budget in B1:D1
In B2:D2 enter values 1, 2, 3
Make chart from A1:D2
Format the y-axis: white font, transparent background: this hides the
numbers on the y-axis
With chart selected, in Formula bar Low.
This makes a text box that can be dragged to line up with the gridline at
y=1
Same for next two
Alternatively use Bovey XY Chartlabeler (www.appspro.com) - it works with
all chart types

I've searched through the posts, and couldn't find this question

I'm using a simple column chart, I'm not 100% sure if it's the chart or
the way I've set up my table that's the problem. Below is a simplified
example of what I'm trying to do. I want the series data, or the
columns/X-axis to reflect the items Spending, Expenses, Budget. I want
to have the values of the Y-axis to list Low, Medium, High, and for the
columns to go to the appropriate level for the Y-axis.

High 3


I also tried this format for the table.
