If you get value error it's because the dob is text, make sure it is a
number and it will work
Format D4 as date, then type in a date and you'll see it will work

first off let me state im a beginner... :)
basically i cant get this dateif thing to work out the yearly age of
someone...it seems fairly simple to me but i cant quite get it working.
Well i cant get it working at all, i just keep getting #VALUE! haha...
I have a cell with =TODAY() which has been named 'Today'
Cell D4 contains the birthdate
Would i not just enter into any cell:
=DATEDIF(D4,Today,"Y")
And this would bring up the Yearly age of the person?
..Im thinking that the problem could lie within my formatting of the
cell? (it is set to *dd/mm/yyyy) But after much trial and error im
still getting no result.
I need this working for tomorrow as it is part of my AS Level project
at school so any help of any sort would be much appreciated!
Thank you,
Jj :)
