Default hyperlink that are relavant to a work book not a computer

I don't recall seeing a warning about hyperlinks. Links: yes, hyperlinks: no.
What message are you getting?

Alternatively, you might be able to use the HYPERLINK function. In that,
you explicitly enter the path. Check Excel Help for more information.

Does that help?

thanks Ron, but a message about hyperlinks can be bad or something, is that
normal?

Try this:

File|Properties|Summary tab
Hyperlink base: (fill in the appropriate base location)

For more information, search Excel Help for: hyperlink base address

Does that help?
