Thanks for your input. The reason I would enter the date as 111904 is that
it is much faster to enter the data using the numeric key pad. I would think
that most people who enter higher volumes of data would NOT want to be
entering the date as 11/19/04, unless you were getting paid by the hour. HA

You need to enter dates in excel so excel knows they are dates! Thus you
need to use date delimiters like / or - etc or using VBA, thus either

11/19/04
