In Sheet2,

Put in A1: =IF(Sheet1!A1="","",Sheet1!A1)

Copy across & fill down to cover the
expected used range in Sheet1

Sheet2 will reflect the values within Sheet1

For formats, just do an entire sheet:
Copy paste special check "Formats" OK
(copy from Sheet1, paste in Sheet2)

Formulas can return only values, not formats
