Take a look at Conditional Formatting in XL Help.

For instance, with your "original" cell selected, choose
Format/Conditional Formatting... Use the dropdowns and textbox to enter

Value is less than or equal to 2

click the Format button and select a color from the pattern tab.

Ok..Im trying to set up a stock system.

The store has 8 items, and Ive done a formula so that when the product is
sold the original number goes down.

i.e. formula is =8 -E4-E5-E6 etc. So if in the month of January (E4) is two,
then the original number of 8 items goes down by two.

What I need to do is for that cell with the original number of 8 to
highlight itself when it reaches, say, the number 2.

Please help me if you can!! THANKS!!
