Default .. any help appreciated .. i think it's a pasting HTML problem

you may also want to try the text to colums function under data. It may let
you split your data up a little more

No need to paste if the stats are in tables, you can use dataget external
datanew web query and get it from there, make sure you check the disable
date recognition under advanced if not something like 5-3 will turn into May
3 current year

.

. I used to be able to select HTML tables (ex/ the hockey standings
at NHL.com) and then paste them, as is, to a worksheet. It wouldn't
look exactly the same, but at least each number/field would be in it's
own cell.

. now that I have Excel 2003 version, when I paste the data it all
goes into one little cell. I tried pasting several different ways.
The Office Clipboard and Help section don't seem to help either. I
think I checked any paste HTML options.

. So now I'm going to cry. I spend a lot of time with statistics,
and database manipulation (just for fun), so any help would be
wonderful.

Thanks.
