No question is stupid but some answers are.
You can LINK the Excel chart on the PP slide
You could hold down SHIFT before using Edit|Copy Picture and copy the chart
to any graphics program from where it can be saved as (for example a JPEG or
GIF) file
Put tell us what issue (don't you just hate this new word?) you are having
with Copy & Paste
