I am trying to do an IF function with either AND or OR, and so far it is not
given me the right answer, please help. If the first letter of cell A1 is 1
or D, then blank, or else +A1

=IF(OR(LEFT(A1,1)="D",VALUE(LEFT(A1=1),"",A1))
