Thanks but by doing by your formula if I type 8 and hit
enter it will put 8 but having it formatted as a number
then I type 8 the result will be 8.00, as I've several off
these I would prefer a formula that would work with 8.00
not 8 as a text number.

decimal time column
as text (making sure that 2 decimal places are shown)
