I am creating a matrix in a worksheet.
The data I am using is organized like all normal data. There are rows
that have an observation and columns that have several different stats
on the observation. The matrix compares each individual observation to
every other observation.
To do this, I need to drag my formulas across. I didn't think this
would be a problem. However, when you drag something across columns in
excel, by default it increases the columns chronologically. You cannot
get around this using the dollar signs (at least I don't think so).
When I use the autofill to drag my formulas, I want the rows to
increase (1,2,3,4) instead of the columns (A,B,C,D). I have thousands
of lines of data and I will not create this matrix if I cannot find a
way to drag the formulas in a time efficient manner.
I may not have explained this very well. Any suggestions? Thanks for
the help.
