Default How to use an index number in a search range

The following returns the relative position of an entry in a row of unsorted
data:
{=MATCH(TRUE,D!C22:BD22<C22,0)}

How can I use the value returned by the above for the beginning position in
a search range in row# 22

similar to:
=max(the value created by the above formula:k22)
