Default Conditionally formatting other cells?

Brett

Select A1 CTRL and select B3:B10 and FormatCFFormula is

=$A$1=0

NOTE the $ signs to anchor A1 as the key cell.

Format as you wish and OK your way out.

If cell A1 is 0, I'd like the text of A1 and B3 thru B10 to be gray. I
know how to conditional format for the current cell but how can I also
format other cells based on the current cell's condition?

Thanks,
Brett
