Excel startup and named worksheets
Thank you very much Dino! The hiding part worked!
Yes, at one time I did have a macro, but I deleted it and when I went to
macros to make sure; it is not there, so somehow I got things really mixed
up, but it works now, so THANKS AGAIN!

You probably have a personal macro stored in Excel. To check this, go to
Tools, Macro, Macros and see if there is one there. If you don't want it,
delete it. Then, hide the Personal.xls though Window, Hide. Close Excel and
if it asks do you want to save Personal.xls, choose Yes.

Hi! I'm baffled! I need some help!
When I startup Excel, instead of getting a blank worksheet, I get TWO
worksheets the first one titled: Personal.xls:1 and behind it is the
second
one titled: Personal.xls:2.
I want a blank, untitled worksheet to come up when I start Excel.
I have looked through the help files and it points me to look in the
General
tab in Options at the "at startup, open all files in:" block and clear it,
but there is nothing in that box to clear. There is also nothing in the
XLSTART.folder for me to clear.
Thanks in advance!
