Are you sure you're seeing Book1.xls?
If you are, then go back to your XLStart folder and delete this workbook--not
the book.xlt template file!
If you don't see book1.xls in that XLStart folder, close excel and use windows
start button|search to find it. Then delete it (or move it somewhere else).
