Default Not sure what to call these problems ...

1. Close Excel
2. Start Settings Printers...make sure the default setting for your
printer is landscape as well as the Excel setting.
3. View Taskpane for your familiar right-hand pane
4. Tools Options View and make sure Startup taskpane is checked to make
it automatic

Since loading SP2, Excel has been doing some crazy things. It was working
fine before and SP2 is the only new software I have installed recently. Here
are the problems:

1) I produce a landscape spreadsheet and save it as landscape etc.. When I
go to print it, Excel appears to automatically over-ride the landscape and
reverts my document to A4 portrait. It prints out the document on two sheets
of portrait A4. When I go back into Page Setup, my document layout has also
been altered to portrait.

First time it happened, I thought it was my error. Since then, I have
checked my documents carefully every single time, and it happens every single
time. Any ideas on how to resolve this?

2) When I opened Excel, I would get a box showing my recent workbooks etc.
on the right hand side of the screen. This would stay there until I selected
a document.

Now, when I open Excel the recent workbooks the box of recent workbooks
etc., shows briefly then disappears. I have to go into 'Open', select the
folder etc. Help!!
