Default white font in certain cells

After trying Biff's suggestion, make sure the cells are not protected.

If you are convinced that evil forces are at work, Start Excel in Safe Mode
and then try to change the font color.

Hello Biff and Gary's Student

I already tried changing the font color various ways and it wouldn't work.
Tommorrow when I go back to work, I will go into one of the actual cells
messed up and look at the conditional formatiing. I already looked at it,
but I may have not been in a messed up cell. I really believe that a
deadbeat that don't know what work is did this on purpose. But again, I may
be crazy.

Thank you

Hi!

Another thing to check for is conditional formatting.

Select one of the cells that has a white font.

Then goto FormatConditional Formatting.

Do you see any settings?

Hello

I have a problem with the fonts being white in various cells. I'm
wondering
if a prankster at work is messing with me.

At first you think that the cell is just blank, but after I did a select
all
and all the cells were highlighted, I could see that the font is actually
white in random cells. I use excel a whole lot and I don't see anything
that
would cause this. Using format cell, nothing appears to be different from
the other cells that are okay. If I do a copy and paste from a good cell,
the font remains white. I read up in help about a person could type in
three
semicolons to do this, under format cells, but that also doesn't appear to
be
the case. I actually deleted out about thirty rows of cells that I could
see
white fonts in (I had previously copied mathematical formulas.) and then I
had a row that the cell was okay

I have spent about an hour trying to see what the problem is on this one
spreadsheet.

I hope someone can help.
