I can no longer use the arrow buttons to move around my excel worksheets
(to change the active cell). When I click on the up or down arrows the
sheet itself moves up or down, however the active cell remains the
same. I have looked in the "Tools" - "Options" area to see if I need
to set or reset something but cannot find anything.

I can't imagine what happened (except I do have a few feline friends
who use my pc when I'm not looking!)

I would appreciate any input ...
