It is easy once you create your Combo Box in excel. Stay in design mode and
Right Click on the Combo Box a drop down list will appear.

Choose properties from the list.

This will allow you to change the combo box in any way you like from text
size Colour and this is where you can enter in items into your combo box.

Go down the list till you find LISTFILLRANGE You can enter in a range of
cells for example if you want the colum A in the combo box then type A:A.

You can even create a combo box drop down list from a completley seperate
workbook.

By typing Exactly as shown [Book2]Sheet1!$A:$A

NOTE to show the list that you create you must be out of Design Mode.
