1. Select the cells that have the pattern you want to remove.
2. Right-click on the selection and choose Format Cells from the context menu.
3. In the Format Cells dialog box, click on the Fill tab.
4. Under the Fill tab, select the No Fill option.
5. Click OK to close the dialog box.

This will remove the pattern from the selected cells without affecting the cell color or gridlines. The gridlines should still be visible, and the original cell coloring should remain intact.
