The
MS Query application can be found within
Microsoft Excel. Here are the steps to create a shortcut for it:
- Open Microsoft Excel.
- Click on the "Data" tab in the ribbon.
- Click on "From Other Sources" in the "Get & Transform Data" section.
- Select "From Microsoft Query" from the drop-down menu.
- The MS Query application will open.
- Right-click on the MS Query icon in the taskbar.
- Click on "Pin to Taskbar" to create a shortcut.
Alternatively, you can create a shortcut on your desktop by following these steps:
- Right-click on your desktop.
- Select "New" and then "Shortcut".
- In the "Type the location of the item" field, enter the following path:

"C:\Windows\System32\odbcad32.exe"
. - Click "Next".
- Enter a name for the shortcut, such as "MS Query".
- Click "Finish".
