Hi
Shooter,
The
green triangle in the top left corner of a cell is an indicator that Excel has detected a potential error or inconsistency in the formula or data in that cell. However, if you are sure that the data or formula in the cell is correct and you want to remove the green triangle, you can do so by following these steps:
- Select the cell(s) with the green triangle.
- Click on the "File" tab in the top left corner of the Excel window.
- Click on "Options" in the left-hand menu.
- In the Excel Options window, click on "Formulas" in the left-hand menu.
- Scroll down to the "Error Checking" section.
- Uncheck the box next to "Enable background error checking".
- Click "OK" to save the changes.
This should remove the green triangles from the selected cells. However, keep in mind that disabling error checking can make it harder to spot actual errors in your data or formulas, so use this feature with caution.
