To move the cursor to the beginning of the next row after hitting Enter, you can simply press the
Tab key. This will move the cursor to the first cell in the next row. Alternatively, you can use the
arrow keys to move the cursor to the beginning of the next row.
If you want to change the default behavior of the Enter key in Excel, you can do so by going to
File Options Advanced. Under the
Editing options section, you will see a checkbox for
"After pressing Enter, move selection". You can select the
"Down" option to move the cursor to the beginning of the next row when you hit Enter.
- Go to File tab
- Click on Options
- Click on Advanced
- Under Editing options, select "After pressing Enter, move selection"
- Select "Down" option
