Thumbs up Answer: Show max and min on a graph

Hi Assaf,

To show the maximum and minimum values on a line graph in Excel 2007, you can follow these steps:
  1. Select the data series for which you want to show the max and min values.
  2. Right-click on the data series and select "Add Data Labels".
  3. Right-click on any of the data labels and select "Format Data Labels".
  4. In the "Format Data Labels" dialog box, select the "Values From Cells" option.
  5. Click on the "Select Range" button and select the cells that contain the maximum and minimum values for the data series.
  6. Click "OK" to close the dialog box.

Now, the maximum and minimum values for the data series will be displayed as labels on the graph.

If you only want to show the max and min labels and hide the other data labels, you can follow these additional steps:
  1. Select the data labels for the max and min values.
  2. Right-click on the data labels and select "Format Data Labels".
  3. In the "Format Data Labels" dialog box, select the "Label Options" tab.
  4. Under "Label Contains", uncheck all options except "Value".
  5. Click "OK" to close the dialog box.

Now, only the max and min labels will be displayed on the graph.
