Excel Rows
In newer versions of Excel, the maximum number of rows is
1,048,576. However, if you're using an older version of Excel, the maximum number of rows is
65,536.
To make sure you have enough rows for your data, you can follow these steps:
- Open your worksheet in Excel.
- Click on the last row number at the bottom of the screen. This should be row 1,048,576.
- Right-click on the row number and select "Delete". This will delete all the rows below your data.
- Save your worksheet.
Now you should have enough rows for your data. When you copy and paste your data from other worksheets, Excel should automatically add more rows as needed.
If you're still having trouble copying and pasting your data, you can try using the
"Paste Special" feature. Here's how:
- Copy the data you want to paste into your large worksheet.
- Click on the cell where you want to start pasting your data.
- Click on the "Paste" dropdown menu in the Home tab.
- Select "Paste Special".
- In the "Paste Special" dialog box, select "Values" and "Transpose".
- Click "OK".
This should transpose your data and paste it into your worksheet without any issues. Let me know if you have any other questions!
