Thumbs up Answer: How do you make cells smaller?

To make cells smaller in Excel, you can adjust the row height or column width. Here's how:
  1. Adjusting row height:
    - Select the row(s) you want to adjust.
    - Hover your mouse over the bottom border of the selected row(s) until the cursor turns into a double arrow.
    - Click and drag the border up or down to adjust the height of the row(s).
    - Release the mouse button when you're satisfied with the new height.
  2. Adjusting column width:
    - Select the column(s) you want to adjust.
    - Hover your mouse over the right border of the selected column(s) until the cursor turns into a double arrow.
    - Click and drag the border left or right to adjust the width of the column(s).
    - Release the mouse button when you're satisfied with the new width.

You can also adjust the row height or column width using the
    Formula:
    "Format"
option in the Home tab of the Excel ribbon:
    - Select the row(s) or column(s) you want to adjust.
    - Click on the "Format" button in the Home tab.
    - Choose "Row Height" or "Column Width" from the dropdown menu.
    - Enter the desired height or width in the dialog box that appears.
    - Click "OK" to apply the changes.
