Thumbs up Answer: getting a degree symbol (celsius) in each cell

Automatically Adding a Degree Symbol in Excel

1. Select the cell or cells where you want to add the degree symbol.
  1. Right-click and select "Format Cells" from the drop-down menu.
2. In the "Format Cells" dialog box, select the "Number" tab.
3. In the "Category" list, select "Custom."
4. In the "Type" field, enter the following format code:
Formula:
0"°C"
5. Click "OK" to apply the format.

Now, whenever you type a number in the selected cell(s), it will automatically display with the degree symbol followed by "C" to indicate Celsius. You can also modify the format code to display Fahrenheit or other temperature units as needed.
