Adding an equals sign to cells in Excel
- Select the cells that need the equals sign added.
- Press "Ctrl + H" to open the "Find and Replace" dialog box.
- In the "Find what" field, type "=".
- In the "Replace with" field, type "=="
- Click "Replace All" to add the equals sign to each cell.
Note: Only select cells that do not already have an equals sign in them. Use the "Find what" field to search for cells with existing equals signs. Wrap any Excel formulas in
tags.
