Hi Julie,
Sure, I can definitely help you with that! Here's how you can split the text and numbers into separate cells:
- Select the column that contains the text and numbers you want to split.
- Click on the "Data" tab in the Excel ribbon.
- Click on the "Text to Columns" button.
- In the "Convert Text to Columns Wizard" that appears, select "Delimited" and click "Next".
- In the next screen, select the delimiter that separates the text and numbers in your data. In your case, it looks like there's a space between the name and phone number, so select "Space" and make sure the preview looks correct. Click "Next".
- In the final screen, you can choose the format of the data in each column. For the phone number, select "Text" to make sure Excel doesn't try to convert it to a number and remove any leading zeros. Click "Finish".
That's it! Excel will now split the text and numbers into separate columns. You can then delete the original column if you no longer need it.
I hope that helps!
