you could color cell A1 with conditional formatting using this formula:
=AND(A1=TODAY(),A1<=TODAY()+10)
Or you try in B1:
=IF(AND(A1=TODAY(),A1<=TODAY()+10),A1-TODAY()&IF(A1-TODAY()=1," day "," days ")&"left","")
