I have a number of users that have to work on the same excel
workbook. Each user should have access to its own worksheet and be
denied to *see* other users data. I managed to selectively show and
hide worksheets by a form asking for usn+pw in the
ThisWorkbook.Workbook_Open() event. Now I want to deny a smart user
to access other user's data by VBA commands in the immediate window,
so I need to deny access to VB Editor.
How can I temporary disable VB Editor?
Thanks in advance,
David
To disable access to the VBE requires disabling several keys and menus.
It might be wiser to use Environ("username") as a safety mechanism so
only the logged in user can access their worksheet. Require a password
to make sheets visible, where the password must match the username.
