Default Unreadable Content Errors

After running a series of macros in an Excel 2007 worksheet, then saving the
file & reopening, I get an error that tells me I have 'unreadable content'.
It allows me to open if I 'fix' the file, and then shows me the following
error log:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?
- <recoveryLog
xmlns="http://schemas.openxmlformats.org/spreadsheetml/2006/main"
<logFileNameerror006920_21.xml</logFileName
<summaryErrors were detected in file 'C:\Documents and
Settings\zjv0008\My Documents\Excel\Post Promotion Eval\PPE Scorecard
Template 072909 delete.xlsm'</summary
- <removedRecords summary="Following is a list of removed records:"
<removedRecordRemoved Records: Sorting from /xl/worksheets/sheet3.xml
part</removedRecord
</removedRecords
</recoveryLog

If I save the file after the 'fix', then reopen the file again, it is fine.
I cannot see anything different about the file after the 'fix' occurs, and so
far everything appears to work as expected, but I am in the build phase of
this file & it contains many sheet tabs & formulas. I am concerned about
integrity, but have no idea where to begin to look for the problem. I do not
want to rebuild everything, but would like any ideas on how to best isolate
the issue so I can try to put in a permanent fix. Any suggestions would be
much appreciated!!
