Pixels
Hi *I know this is nothing to do with Excel but I also know there are
a lot of intelligent people out there.
My daughter has a uni project and she needs to count the number of
changes in a cancer cell slide *- before and after treatment. * There
a 20 before and after slides in all.
Basically the treated cells turn different shades of brown and she
needs to count the number of cells that changed colour (shades of
brown)
Note there are a lot of pixels ! per slide.
Help – point me to a group etc that can help her or maybe one of you
Excel experts know how to...

Are all the slides of exactly the same area? In other words, can you
stack the slides and produce a time-laps of cells?
Is each cell exactly a pixel or can it be a group of pixels? Do the
cells need to be "detected" in the image?
Are the slides taken using the same lighting condition or do they need
to be adjusted in some way before colour changes are detected?
