We are using the script below to send an email upon closing a
workbook. Some users are having issues on the .Send line and the email
never gets sent. All users are on the same exchange server with the
same domain with the same email program (Outlook 2003). Can anyone
think of settings or issues that may prevent this from sending?
With iMsg
* * * *Set .Configuration = iConf
* * * *.To = "
* * * *.CC = activepmeml
* * * *.BCC = ""
* * * *.From = activepmeml
* * * *.Subject = trdcheck & " trade(s) ready for execution in " +
activepm + "'s Equity Queue"
* * * *.TextBody = ""
* * * *On Error GoTo m:
* * * *.Send
* *End With
I haven't tried the Outlook model code. Do you have a link with some
sample code? If the code I pasted has an error I use the code below
which works on everyone's machine though I suspect this is pretty
inefficient as I have to create a dummy Excel file to send.
Application.Dialogs(xlDialogSendMail).Show ",
Arg2:=trdcheck & " EQ trades ready for execution in " + activepm + "'s
queue."
Workbooks("tempfisend.xls").Close SaveChanges:=False
