Maybe you could try uninstalling/reinstalling the Analysis ToolPak or
repairing the installation:
Start | Control Panel | Add or remove programs | Microsoft Office | Change |
....
If you uninstall, it might be a good idea to reboot before reinstalling.
Also, choose "Analysis ToolPak," not "Analysis ToolPak - VBA."

not
see Data Analysis appear in my Tools menu. What can I do?

Where do I find the Multiple Regression add-in for data analysis in
Excel
2002 (Office XP) ? <
Tools | Data Analysis | Regression.
Here's an excerpt from my book "Data Analysis Using Microsoft Excel:
Updated
for Office XP":
"If the Data Analysis command doesn't appear on the Tools menu, choose
the
Add-Ins command from the Tools menu; in the Add-Ins Available list box,
check the box next to Analysis Tools. If Analysis Tools doesn't appear in
the Add-Ins Available list box, you may need to add the Analysis ToolPak
through a custom installation using the Microsoft Excel Setup program."
