probably loop and check for the files...

Set objXL = CreateObject("Excel.Application")

Set objwb = objXL.Workbooks.Open("c:\1.xls")
MsgBox objwb.BuiltinDocumentProperties("Author")
objwb.Close False

objXL.quit
Set objXL = Nothing
Set objwb = Nothing

Number of Pages
