Default Concatenate with currency w/2 decimal places

I'm working on a formula that is removing my currency formatting. =IF
(C31=$A$2,$D$2,"$")&IF(C31=$A$3,$D$3,"$")...

I've managed to get the "$" to the front of the figure but I'm getting
a result of four decimal places, $12.1245.
If I use "$0.00" instead of "$" alone the result is $0.0012.1245. =IF
(C31=$A$2,$D$2,"$0.00")&IF(C31=$A$3,$D$3,"$0.00")
I've also tried =IF(C31=$A$2,$D$2,"#.##")&IF(C31=$A$3,$D$3,"#.##")
with the result of an error.

I know I must be doing something wrong or missing something.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Cassandra
