Default Determining the last row and column used on a sheet

Give these a try...

LastUsedRow = ActiveSheet.Cells.Find(What:="*", _
SearchDirection:=xlPrevious, _
SearchOrder:=xlRows).Row

LastUsedColumn = ActiveSheet.Cells.Find(What:="*", _
SearchDirection:=xlPrevious, _
SearchOrder:=xlByColumns).Column
