Hi,

If there are multiple instances of rank1 that will not give the results
that
it seems the OP wants.

One way to overcome this to change the rank formula.

In B1 and copied down,

=RANK(A1,$A$1:$A$4)+COUNTIF($A$1:A1,A1)-1
