Hello-

Maybe not the _most_ efficient reply, but even having Word Wrap enabled on a
cell will not cause the row height to automatically adjust unless the height
has _not_ been changed from the default. IOW, if you manually set the row
height first (even a minute change such as 12.75 to 12.76), you can type as
much into the cell as it will hold & the row height will not change nor will
the content 'flow over' to an adjacent cell.

You need to remove the Word Wrap attribute only if you _do_ want the text to
overflow the cell. Also, if you want the row to adjust later, just select the
cell and use FormatRowHeightAutoFit (or dbl-click the bottom border of the
Row Selector).

Please Help -
I use Excel for almost everything & I inevitable always have a Notes
column. But when I add notes, it always automatically wraps the text &
makes the box HUGE, so I always have to override it by going back into
the Formatting Tools to un-check the word wrap box. I notice that in
some cases on some sheets, this doesn't happen, though. It just leaves
the cell the same size & doesn't seem to mind - How can I get it so it
always does this?
