Disappearing Personal.xls
Excel XP & Win XP
I've got one that doesn't make a bit of sense. I've got a user that has an
Excel file on his desktop. If he opens just the Excel program, he has a
hidden Personal.xls file.(Windows - Unhide - there it is).
Now comes the problem. If Excel is closed and he double-clicks on his
desktop file icon, Excel opens and the file opens and Personal.xls is not
there ( Unhide is grayed out). I asked and he doesn't have any other
version of Excel on his computer.
Does anyone have any idea what is happening? Thanks for your time. Otto
