Default Survey building and analysis tool

I agree with Mike 100%; I've created surveys in Excel, and on top of the
time and hassle of creating a survey in Excel, you then have to aggregate
everyone's individual data back into one workbook for analysis. There are
some ways to simplify this (for example, if they are all employees with
access to a shared network drive where you can tell Excel to save each
person's data for retrieval) but overall, it is far too difficult when
compared to free online surveys like surveymonkey that allow you to download
your data for further analysis.

Instead of using Excel for the survey, I suggest you consider using Survey
Monkey or some other online service.

Then, if the service's summary and simple charts are not satisfactory,
download the database of survey results, and use Excel's pivot table for
summaries and subsequent charts.
