You can have two lines of text in a cell by typing a few characters and then
Alt-Enter and then some more characters which will be on the second line.
If you preceed the second row characters it will move them to the lower
right corner of the cell and the first line characters will be in the upper
left area of the cell..........then a right-to-left diagonal border as
you've described will separate the cell and produce the visual effect you
are looking for.............

Dear all,
I want to separate a cell into two parts. I can do this by adding a
diagonal
from "Fomat/Cell/Border". However, when I want to add text into two
separate
parts, it cannot be done. The problem is the text description cannot be
separated into upper portion and lower portion as I expected. Can it be
done
and how? Please advise.
Thanks.
