Default another "to prevent possible loss of data, Microsoft Excel cannotshift nonblank cells off the worksheet."

I know many people have had similar issues in Excel. I tried
recommendations that I have found posted here, but I still cannot get
this to work.

I have a pretty large excel file with columns out to EM (but no where
near the IV limit). If I either try to insert columns, or if I try to
take a column and cut and past it to another location on the sheet I
get the message saying Excel cannot do it because of the possible loss
of data.

I do not have any objects or comments in any of my cells, or anywhere
on the sheet for that matter. I do have some formatting in the very
last column. However, if I select the entire last column (or even the
last several columns) and right click on them and hit delete and
completely delete the entire column(s) I still get the message.

I don't understand why even having data in the last column would
prevent cutting and insert columns on the same sheet because nothing
would actually shift off of the sheet, it should only shift between
where the one column is cut and where it is inserted into.

Thanks for your help,
David
