Default Protect sheet and still copy

Is there a method to protect a sheet (specific cells "Locked/Hidden") and
still copy/cut/paste rows?
As an example, in rows 1 thru 30 columns A, C, E, G, I, K, N, O, Q, S and U
are Locked/Hidden. This makes it easier to tab thru the sheet, all other
columns are not Locked or Hidden and last column used is V.
If I want to copy/cut/paste any of the rows (1 thru 30) or copy a selection
of cells (columns and rows) I have to "unprotect" the sheet perform the
action and then protect the sheet. Same scenario to copy said row and or
selection to another same style sheet.
For me this is not a problem, for others it appears, this is a life altering
event!
