Yeah, it does not, because your request was:

And that's what my code does!

If you want to move down to the first empty cell in column c and
select this cell you could do this:
cells(cells(6,3).end(xldown).row + 1, 3).select
which basically is the same but the last number has been changed from
2 (column B) to 3 (column C)
