I'd use:

=VLOOKUP(C2,INDIRECT("'" & A1 & "'!E20:H24"),2,FALSE)

in case the worksheet name in A1 required surrounding apostrophes.

=VLOOKUP(C2,INDIRECT(A1&"!E20:H24"),2,FALSE)

With yoyr workshet name in A1
